About this course
  • Perform high-quality CPR as per BLS recommendations
  • Effectively recognize pediatric patients with respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest conditions and how to appropriately intervene
  • Distinguish between respiratory distress and respiratory failure and learn appropriate interventions
  • Recognize and manage compensated and hypotensive shock conditions
  • Differentiate between stable and unstable patients with dysrhythmia and appropriate course of action.
  • Post arrest management (ROSC)
  • High-performance team roles and dynamics as well as high-quality individual skills
  • Includes skill stations, case scenario simulations, and practical testing stations
  • Includes an American Heart Association (AHA) Provider Manual and PALS Provider Card upon successfully completing the course, which is valid for 2 years
